WHY DO WE NEED A NEW LIBRARY?

It is time to modernize and expand the Mamaroneck Public Library; to bring it up to 21^st century standards for safety, efficiency and accessibility. The project will be financed by a combination of a public bond, grants and private fundraising.

The architectural firm of BKSK has been working with the Library Board to plan for the renovation and expansion. Donations to the Library's capital campaign have funded all study and planning completed to date. The library has conducted focus groups and telephone surveys to gather the community's input on the project.

The effort we make now to modernize our public library will ensure that the doors to knowledge, information and opportunity are always open in Mamaroneck for our children and our future.
