Museum Pass Program

Passes to the following local museums may now be checked out from the Mamaroneck Library by residents of the Village of Mamaroneck with a valid Mamaroneck Library Card.

  • American Folk Art Museum*
  • Bruce Museum
  • Danbury Railway Museum
  • Guggenheim Museum
  • Intrepid
  • Katonah Museum of Art*
  • Neuberger Museum of Art
  • Children's Museum of Manhattan
  • Museum of the City of New York

* These museums use paper passes which do not need to be returned to the library.

Mamaroneck Library card holders are entitled to check out museum passes for a period of 6 days, including the date the pass is picked up. In other words, the software automatically block passes for 5 days after the date requested. For example, if you would like to make a reservation for the Intrepid for the weekend of July 30th, you would pick July 29th as the first day and that would make the pass due on Wednesday, August 3rd.

Late passes will incur a $5/day late fee as the next patron will be affected if the pass is not returned on time.

If your library card has fines of more than $10 or is blocked you may not check out the pass.

Passes must be returned to the Reference Desk, except for the Katonah Museum of Art and American Folk Art Museum passes. Passes may not be returned in the book drop.

The patron is responsible for checking with the museums for specific information on hours, exhibits etc. Some museums might be under renovation or have seasonal hours.

This program is made possible by the Friends of the Mamaroneck Public Library.
