Presenting Your Passion Projects for College – ZOOM
Jun 9 @ 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Given the uncertain nature of the summer and fall, avenues for participating in traditional extracurricular activities, e.g. camp jobs, travel experiences, school clubs, and sports, may not happen as they normally do. What will your child do during this time?

It is also more important than ever for students to find a way to showcase their passion projects, talents, achievements, and more. How can students best capture their newfound love of baking, or making stickers and selling them on Etsy, or creating an online peer tutoring service? Are they making masks, delivering food, raising money for charity, or helping family or friends?

Join me and Anne Sullivan of LifeStream Digital Innovations®, as we show how students can effectively capture their most important moments and easily demonstrate their unique experience and accomplishments to showcase who they are and what they can do.

Register here.

Parent Perspective: The College Admissions Process – ZOOM Meeting
Jun 16 @ 8:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Tackling the college admissions and application process with your children can feel daunting, stressful, and anxiety-provoking. It can even be combative! Rest assured, you’re not alone.

Hear from a panel of Westchester County parents as they discuss how they navigated the process with their children and came out the other side with each of their children committing to highly selective colleges. Topics discussed include: what they wish they knew before they started, minimizing stress, biggest obstacles/what to look out for, where to compromise, timeline and deadlines, the “sweet spot” for supporting without overstepping, supporting their children’s ultimate choice, and reaching the finish line!
