Celebrate the Life of Gail Henion Sheehy: Innovative Mamaroneck Author, A Woman Ahead of her Time
Dr. Darla Shaw, who presented programs on Women’s Suffrage and Typhoid Mary this winter, is now taking on the role of Gail Henion Sheehy. Sheehy spent the first formative 22 years of her life in Mamaroneck; Dr. Shaw-as-Gail will talk about her memories of Mamaroneck. She will also focus on how one of her nineteen books, PASSAGES, became one of the ten most influential books of our time. Gail made us reflect on our lives and be honest with ourselves. She showed us how similar we all are, but how we need to also be different from one another. Join us on zoom to gain wisdom from Gail’s life and become more introspective.
