Denise Mathieson, is a Mamaroneck resident, mom, wife, dog owner and Yoga Teacher. Denise writes:
“In reading the library’s newsletter, I was inspired to offer Yoga to my community. In our current new way of life, I have been thinking of ways to reach out via Yoga, and have even created my own YouTube Channel called, Dear Yoga Diary.  Keeping myself sane documenting my Yoga life, has helped me through these uncertain times!”
Chair Yoga:
Chair Yoga is a 30-minute easier session designed for those who are unable to get to the floor or simply do not have a yoga mat. The class will explore modified Yoga poses for sitting and standing.  Participants will practice modifications of the Yoga Asanas (poses) and Pranayamas (breathing techniques). Moving our bodies is the best way to remain healthy and calm.
Chair Yoga Sessions will be given on alternate Wednesdays beginning on April 29. Participants may register for any, or all of these dates:

May 13,  May 27, June 10, June 24, July 8 all  @ 11 am
