Available museums include:

  • 9/11 Memorial & Museum – Hours: The Museum is open Wednesday-Monday and select Tuesdays, 9 am-7 pm. Free, expedited admission to the Museum for two adults and two children (17 and under). Complimentary audio guides. 20% discount in the Museum Store.
  • Bruce Museum – Hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10am-5pm. Last admission 4:30pm. Reservations recommended, but not required.
  • Empire Pass – Visit parks.ny.gov to find participating parks and facilities.
  • Franklin D. Roosevelt Presidential Library and Museum – Hours: Everyday 9am-6pm. Each pass offers admission for a group of up to five people. Pass is not valid at the FDR Mansion or other Roosevelt sites.
  • Frick Museum – Wednesday – Monday 10:30am – 5:30pm. CLOSED on Tuesdays
  • Greenburg Nature Center – Manor House hours: Tuesday-Sunday 10am-4pm. Nature Center grounds are open daily from dawn to dusk.
  • Guggenheim Museum – Hours: Everyday 10:30am-5:30pm. Advance ticketing required.
  • Hudson River Museum – Hours: Wednesday-Friday 12-5pm and Saturday-Sunday 11am – 5pm.
  • Intrepid Sea and Air Museum – Hours: Oct 1-Mar 31: Monday-Sunday 10AM – 5PM. Apr 1-Sept 30: Monday-Friday 10am-5pm; Saturday-Sunday 10am-6pm.
  • Mohonk Preserve – Trailheads are open daily from sunrise to sunset.
  • Museum of the Moving Image – Hours: Thursday 2-6pm; Friday 2-8pm; Saturday-Sunday 12-6pm.
  • New York Historical Society – Hours: Tuesday-Thursday 11am-5pm; Friday 11am-8pm; Saturday-Sunday 11am-5pm.
  • Stamford Museum & Nature Center – Hours: Bendel Mansion Museum Galleries – Winter Hours: Monday-Saturday 9am-4:30pm; Sunday 11am-4:30pm. Heckscher Farm & Nature’s Playground – Winter Hours: Daily 9am-4:30pm, weather permitting. Planetarium and Observatory currently under construction.
  • Stepping Stones Museum for Children – Hours: Open daily 9am-5pm
  • Storm King Art Center – Hours: Wednesday-Monday 10am-4:30pm (final entry 3pm). Closed January – March.
  • Westchester Children’s Museum – Hours: Open every day 9:30am-5:30pm.

Please note: Most museums require timed admissions – please check with the museum website for their current policy.

Please read the following guidelines before reserving a pass:

  • Mamaroneck Library Adult cardholders in good standing (fines under $10.00) may reserve a pass.
  • Only one pass may be checked out at a time.
  • Passes are valid for 4 days, including date of pick-up.
  • Passes must be picked up at and returned to the Adult Reference Desk. They may not be returned in the book drop.
  • Passes may not be picked up earlier than the date of the reservation.
  • Only one pass per family may be checked out in any given week.
  • Passes may not be renewed and the same museum pass may not be reserved for two consecutive weeks.
  • Late passes will incur a $10.00/day late fee.
  • Patrons are responsible for checking with the museums for specific information on hours, exhibits etc. The software provides a link to each museum site.
  • Cardholders must bring the Library card used to make the reservation with them to the museum.
